corn steamed bread--first post

In China, we eat the steamed bread instead of baked bread(well known as the bread). Just like the baked bread, the steamed bread not only made by the flour, but also by corn power.

And now I will intraduce you a very simple, but classical traditional steamed bread--corn steamed bread.


Ingredients
corn power 120g, soybean power 80g, sugar 20g, yeast 3g

Method

1. In a very large bowl, stir together the all-purpose flour, yeast, and sugar (I use wooden chopsticks). Make a small well in the middle of the flour mixture and pour in some warm warter. Mix well, then continue to stir vigorously, until you have a soft, slightly sticky dough; this should take several minutes.

2. Take some dough, just like a thumb, and then put it on the finger tip, and press it slightly until it covers the half of the index finger.

3. Then take off the dough, and put it on the bamboo steamer, which covered by the tinfoil.

4. Continue steaming 10 minutes, after the water is boiling.

5. You can add anything you like into the holes, LOL.
